Joto Japanese School is located in Kameari, the northern part of Katsushika district of Tokyo,with the friendly atmosphere.
The area has been recognized as an atractive area, with retro-style buildings and old-fashioned shopping streets, while redevelopment have brought large commercial facilities to the town as well. From the nearest station, Kameari Station, it is convenient to transfer to the JR Yamanote Line. It takes only 15-minute train ride to Ueno Park whici is famous for cherry blossoms in the spring.

Kameari Eki-mae (In front of Kameari Station)
Kameari Station, the JR Joban Line. From Kameari Station, it is a 15 minute walk to school. Kameari Station became famous for being featured in the anime series “Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo”, and there are many statues of its main character, "Ryo-san", around the station.

Daikyo-ji Temple (Shibamata Taishakuten)
Taishakuten, the “face” of Shibamata which became famous for the movie named “Otokowa Tsuraiyo”, is a Nichiren sect temple called Daikyoji.
As you enter the temple, you can see the history of the temple with large bell tower and splendid sculptures. -
Katsushika, Yamamoto-tei House and Garden
Yamamoto-tei is a Japanese and Western architectural style building built in the late Taisho period. As an architectural piece which preserves the styles of the Taisho to early Showa period, it has been designated as a Tokyo Metropolitan-Selected Historic Building.
At the café, visitors can enjoy beautiful garden while having Japanese tea.
